Paul Creed

Prior to joining Gloucestershire Ambulance Service Paul had studied Radiography at The John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and completed a three year qualification in Acupuncture. After running a full time Acupuncture clinic in Cheltenham and Malmesbury, Paul got the opportunity to join the ambulance service in 2000 and has not looked back since.

After becoming a state registered Paramedic, Paul completed a BSc (Hons) in Emergency Care and he now works as an Emergency Care Practitioner for Great Western Ambulance Service, delivering an advanced level of care to patients in the Gloucestershire area.

Mark Maisey

Mark has been working in pre-hospital care for over twenty years, and is currently practising as a Paramedic and an Emergency Care Practitioner with the local NHS Ambulance Service. He became heavily involved with educating and training Paramedics in the late 1990s, and qualified as an Instructor with Institute of Health Care Development. Whilst completing this training Mark was also working on the County Air Ambulance, where he served for six years.

As part of his commitment to Paramedic training Mark gained a Certificate in Education (Cert Ed.) in 2005 and has recently achieved a BSc (Hons) in Emergency Care. He is also one of the very few Paramedics in the United Kingdom to attain a Diploma in Immediate Medical Care from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.
